Ivory lace
A heirloom lace veil set the tone: cool ivory, quiet texture and a look built entirely around the fabric.

Marta's veil belonged to her grandmother, and everything else was chosen to stand behind it. We kept the palette cool and clean so nothing competed with the lace, using a translucent base and the faintest rose on the lips.
The hair was pinned low and flat at the crown to let the veil sit exactly where it had been worn fifty years earlier.
After the ceremony the veil came away in one movement and left the shape untouched.
